Roger is a designer and a researcher with a range of commercial and academic experience. His research interests revolve around designing interaction; physical, digital, human-to-computer and human-to-human. He has research and commercial experience in user interface design, user experience design, information design and visual communication.
His recent work has focused on enabling people to collaborate and think in new ways, creating tools that facilitate this directly along, accompanied by other tools that allow anyone to plan and facilitate collaborative activities. Underlying this is a deep interest in the technologies we use to hold information and structure the activity we do every day. The tools we design and the technologies we develop are a fundamental part of this picture, with new tools and new technologies opening up new ways of working and thinking.
