Use your skillz to collaborate

These tools, chosen by Liz Clarkson (Neighbourhood Support Officer, Blackburn and Darwen Young Peoples Services), will give young people resources to express their ideas, suggestions and solutions for youth centres and other shared spaces. The tools can be deployed by youth workers, or passed directly to young people to undertake their own engagement work and research. An open, collaborative approach will help to build ownership and confidence in young people, drawing out unique suggestions for using spaces available to young people.

This toolbox would enable Youth Workers to engage with young people through a variety of resources to shape and design the services the young people receive.

This toolbox would enable Young People to plan and facilitate local events for children and young people such as youth festivals and youth engagement events focussing on key issues effecting children and young people.
